Soon permanent employees recruited through proper selection process will work in Delhi government instead of ad hoc employees. The selection process is going on to provide permanent employment to the employees. Under this, on Friday, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena distributed appointment letters to 849 employees recruited in various departments and agencies of Delhi Government at Vigyan Bhawan.

Through this process, 17 thousand vacancies have been filled in the last one year. Apart from this, recruitment will be done on some more posts in Delhi Police and Delhi Government in the coming days. After handing over the appointment letters, the Lt Governor said that 1,495 people have been recruited in the education department in the last six months. Vacancies will be removed for 4500 posts in the coming days.

Apart from this, 6 thousand additional jobs will be created in Delhi Police. All its preparations have been completed. The Lieutenant Governor said that for quality education in the education department, it is necessary to have appointments on all the vacant posts. All the vacant posts have been identified. Soon appointments will be made on all these posts.
